Measurement

Always on

Google Analytics, plus Vercel's cookieless page counts: how many people reached the site, where they came from, and how many finished a booking. This one runs either way. The cookie policy explains how to stop it in your browser.

Google Ads and the Meta pixel for Facebook and Instagram. They report back that an ad led to a booking, and they let an advert for STEPFIT be shown to you on other sites afterwards.

Microsoft Clarity replays how a page was used — where the pointer moved, what was clicked, how far you scrolled. It is kept off the booking flow, the careers form and the contact form whatever you choose here.

retention.com matches signals from your visit against a database built from other sites, and where it finds a match it can tell us a named person was here — even if you never typed anything.

Class themes

Every class is posted with the music it runs on. The platform work is the same every time — what changes is the soundtrack and the pace it sets.

The music

The choreography follows the music, so the theme changes how a class feels more than anything else on this page.

Latin

Latin

Salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton. The rhythm the founders grew up on, and the music Casa 21 runs the rest of the week. Fast footwork, a lot of hip, and the closest a class gets to the room's own night out.

Hip-hop

Hip-hop

Heavier, slower, harder on the beat. More grounded choreography and more strength in the legs, built around tracks with weight behind them.

House

House

Four-on-the-floor, and the reason it works here: the beat is the step count. Chicago house, Latin house, Afro house — steady tempo, long builds, and choreography that locks to the kick drum for the full 55 minutes.

Mix

Mix

Everything, in one set. Latin, hip-hop, house and whatever else moves, so the tempo shifts across the 55 minutes rather than holding one groove.

Who it's for

One class, built for adults — at any level, with no experience needed. STEPFIT is opening with a single format rather than a shelf of them, so the policy below is the same on every class posted here.

  • 18 and over. Every booking confirms the age of the person making it, including a booking made on someone else's behalf.
  • 16 and 17 year olds can attend when a parent or legal guardian books for them. In the booking form that adult confirms their own age, confirms that they are the parent or legal guardian, and signs the waiver on the minor's behalf.
  • That parent or legal guardian must stay at the venue for the whole class. They cannot drop the minor off and come back at the end.
  • The parent or guardian does not have to take the class. If they want to, that is their own booking and their own paid spot — a booking for a 16 or 17 year old covers the minor alone and holds no place for the adult who brought them.
  • We check the minor's age against photo identification at the door and cannot admit them without it.
  • Under 16 cannot take this class. The booking form will not accept an age below 16.
  • Bookings for a 16 or 17 year old close 30 minutes before the class starts, and they should arrive 15 minutes early.

How the room works

Two rules, and the ordinary customer will never come close to either. They are written down because the people they are aimed at should not be able to say nobody told them.

  • STEPFIT can refuse entry to a class, or ask someone to leave one. The grounds are conduct: aggression, threats or unwanted physical contact; harassment; racist or otherwise discriminatory language or conduct; disrespect toward another participant, the instructor or Casa 21's staff that does not stop when it is raised; or ignoring the instructor's safety instructions. There is no warning system for the first three — you will be asked to leave.
  • Never for who you are. STEPFIT does not refuse anyone on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by federal or Florida law. Every level of fitness and experience is welcome, and that is the point of the class.
  • Come in a state to take part safely. The class runs inside a bar and the bar is closed while it does; nobody is asking whether you had a drink at dinner. But this is an impact class on a raised platform, in a dark room, close to other people — and if the instructor judges you are not in a fit state to do that safely, whether that is alcohol, drugs or anything else, you will not take part that night. The judgement is the instructor's and it is made in the room.
  • If someone behaves that way toward you at a class, tell the instructor at the time if you can, or use the contact page afterwards.

Classes for specific groups

Kids, prenatal, older adults, a lower-impact class — people ask about all four, and STEPFIT is not running any of them. We are opening with one class, and a class built for one of those groups wants an instructor trained and certified for that group before it belongs on a schedule. There is no date and no plan. What there is: if enough people ask for a particular one, that is what moves it from an idea into something we look at properly.
