Off here means the tag is never loaded. Nothing is requested from the company behind it, so there is nothing for it to see and no cookie for it to set. You can change this whenever you like from the Privacy choices link in the footer.

Measurement

Always on

Google Analytics, plus Vercel's cookieless page counts: how many people reached the site, where they came from, and how many finished a booking. This one runs either way. The cookie policy explains how to stop it in your browser.

Advertising

Google Ads and the Meta pixel for Facebook and Instagram. They report back that an ad led to a booking, and they let an advert for STEPFIT be shown to you on other sites afterwards.

Session recording

Microsoft Clarity replays how a page was used — where the pointer moved, what was clicked, how far you scrolled. It is kept off the booking flow, the careers form and the contact form whatever you choose here.

Visitor identification

retention.com matches signals from your visit against a database built from other sites, and where it finds a match it can tell us a named person was here — even if you never typed anything.

The first class, in photographs

Every other picture on this site is generated. These are not. They were shot on a phone, in the room, at the first STEPFIT class — one Saturday morning, fifteen people, nobody's second attempt.

What was done to them

Resized for the web, and the location data stripped out. Nothing else. No colour grading, no retouching, no filter, no brand palette. They do not match the rest of this site, and that is deliberate — a photograph that has been made to look like the marketing around it stops being evidence of anything.

Before anyone was on a platform

Ten seconds of the empty floor while the cue screen runs. STEPFIT brings the platforms; the room belongs to Casa 21, which is a Latin dance club the rest of the week. The cues run in English and Spanish because the room does.

Both clips are silent.

Mid-class

The same room about an hour later, with the lights down. This one has faces in it, so it does not start on its own — press play if you want it.

After

Taken at two minutes past ten, when the class had finished and nobody had left yet.
